I have come across people who think being a stay
at home parent is not a big deal, I would say, IT IS!
Especially if you have been working and then embraced being a parent, when you are quitting your dream job to take care of your little ones, IT IS!
I have experience of being a stay-at-home parent for more than five years now, so thought of sharing my feelings today!

Never let a single day pass when you have not done something you are passionate about, duration maybe 5-10 minutes, but make sure you make that time and do what you love. This helps you stay sane, does not let negativity, frustration, or depression creep in you.
You are a stay at home parent, but that does not mean you are available for everyone at all points of time. Also, it does not give others the authority to take you for granted. Be clear and precise about your own choices and schedules. It’s always good to follow a time-table, a routine. If you draw the boundaries at the very start and you yourself follow it, others will gradually get a hang of it.

When you are busy taking care of everyone in the family, remember to prioritize yourself once in a while. Because you cannot pour from an empty vessel. Get some pampering done for yourself, it may be a spa or meditation session! Take a break from your schedules and spend a day in your own way.

Ask for help if needed, you do not have to be hard on yourself to prove your goodness to others. May it be parenting or any chore or any other task, do not hesitate to ask for help. Yes you are a stay at home parent, but that does not mean you have to wear yourself out, do it all by yourself.
